Aisha Tyler
 

Aisha Tyler (* 18. September 1970 in San Francisco) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin.

Leben und Leistungen

Tyler erlebte im Alter von zehn Jahren die Scheidung ihrer Eltern, nach der sie bei ihrem Vater aufwuchs. Tyler besuchte in San Francisco die School of the Arts High School. Sie schloss ein Studium der Politikwissenschaft am Dartmouth College ab. Im Jahr 1996 zog sie nach Los Angeles.

Tyler debütierte in einer Folge der Fernsehserie Nash Bridges aus dem Jahr 1996. Im Jahr 2003 trat sie in der Fernsehserie Friends auf, wofür sie im Jahr 2003 für den Teen Choice Award nominiert wurde. Für ihre Rollen in der Fernsehserie 24 und im Fernsehdrama For One Night (2006) wurde sie in den Jahren 2006 und 2007 für den Image Award nominiert. Im Filmdrama Kaliber 45 (2006) spielte sie an der Seite von Milla Jovovich und Angus Macfadyen.

Tyler ist seit dem Jahr 1992 mit dem Rechtsanwalt Jeff Tietjens verheiratet.
