Elizabeth Berkley (* 28. Juli 1972 in Farmington Hills, Michigan, USA) ist eine US-amerikanische Fernseh-, Film- und Theaterschauspielerin.

Bekanntheit erlangte Berkley für ihre Rolle als Jessica "Jessie" Myrtle Spano in der Sitcom California High School (Saved By the Bell) zwischen 1989 und 1992.

Nebst dieser Rolle wurde Berkley besonders als Hauptdarstellerin im kontroversen Film Showgirls (1995) als Nomi Malone bekannt. Der mit Sex und Nacktheit vollgeladene Film erhielt in den USA eine Altersfreigabe von NC-17 und war ein katastophaler Flop. Er wird allgemein für die vorläufige Zerstörung von Berkleys Karriere verantwortlich gemacht.

Erst Jahre später erholte sich Berkley wieder von ihrem schlechten Ruf. Für Filme wie The Real Blonde, Roger Dodger oder Woody Allens Im Bann des Jade Skorpions erhielt Berkley recht positive Kritiken.

Ebenfalls erhielt sie 1999 sehr viel Applaus für ihre Rolle als Honey Bruce in der Londoner Theaterversion des Films Lenny. Seit dem 11. Juni 2005 ist sie in der Rolle der Bonnie im Off-Broadway-Theaterstück Hurlyburly an der Seite von Eddie Izzard zu sehen.

Berkley war des weiteren in mehreren erfolgreichen TV-Serien zu sehen, beispielsweise in Baywatch, CSI, Without a Trace und NYPD Blue.
