Hilarie Burton
 

Hilarie Burton (* 1. Juli 1982 in Sterling, Virginia, USA) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin und Moderatorin.

Früh erkannte sie ihre Leidenschaft fürs Fernsehen und so zog sie mit 18 Jahren nach New York, wo sie die Moderation der bekannten MTV-Show "TRL" übernahm. Ihren ersten Auftritt als Schauspielerin hatte sie in der Jugendserie "Dawson's Creek". Ein Jahr später war es dann soweit und sie bekam die Rolle der Peyton Sawyer in "One Tree Hill", die sie bis heute verkörpert. Nebenbei blieb sie aber auch immer der Moderation treu und pendelt so zwischen Wilmington, North Carolina (Drehort von "One Tree Hill") und New York hin und her. Und auch für Kinofilme ist Hilarie bereits fest eingeplant.

Privat ist sie glücklich mit dem Regieassistenten Ian Prange verheiratet, sowie gut mit Bethany Joy Galeotti und Chad Michael Murray befreundet.
