Gitta Saxx
 

Gitta Ilona Saxx (bürg. Gitta Sack * 22. Januar 1965 in Überlingen am Bodensee) ist ein deutsches Fotomodell und Fernsehmoderatorin.

Gitta Ilona Saxx ist Tochter einer deutschen Kindergärtnerin und eines marokkanischen Sprachstudenten. Sie wuchs in Schramberg im Schwarzwald auf. Nach ihrer Lehre zur Augenoptikerin wechselte sie aus beruflichen Gründen nach Stuttgart. 1989 nahm sie an einem Fotoshooting des Magazins Playboy teil und wurde daraufhin von den Lesern zur Playmate des Jahres gewählt. 1990 wurde mit ihr eine Kampagne von Kodak auf den Seychellen produziert, durch die sie international bekannt wurde. Sie gab daraufhin ihren Beruf als Optikerin auf und zog nach München, um sich ihrer Karriere als Modell zu widmen. Es folgten weitere Modeaufnahmen für bekannte Bademoden- und Wäschefirmen, so war sie das Gesicht für Lancaster Monaco, Marbert, Margaret Astor und erschien auf zahlreichen Covers deutscher Magazine wie dem Stern, Freundin, Brigitte und anderen. Nebenbei trat sie in Werbespots für Douglas, C&A und in Musik-Clips für die Toten Hosen, Tom Novy, sowie in Gastrollen in verschiedenen Fernsehproduktionen wie Unter Uns und dem Pro7-Film Mädchen Nr.1 auf.

2000 wurde sie vom Playboy zur Playmate des Jahrhunderts gewählt. Inzwischen arbeitet sie als Lifestyle-Expertin für Fernsehformate wie Blitz,Taff, MAX TV, Fit for Fun und als Moderatorin ihrer eigenen Radiokolumne Saxx and the City. Darüber hinaus entwarf sie ihre eigene Wäschelinie mit dem Modehaus Adler. Die Pflegeserie treat of beauty by Gitta Saxx vertreibt sie seit Mai 2005 bei dem Homeshoppingsender HSE24 und wird von ihr in regelmäßigen Abständen persönlich in einer einstündigen Livesendung präsentiert. Nebenbei hat sie Auftritte als Diskjockey unter dem Namen DJane in verschiedenen Clubs, die sie mit ihrem DJ Kollegen Mark Brain in ganz Europa bestreitet.

Gitta ist auch sozial sehr engagiert und neben Ute Ohoven, Heide Simonis und Karen Webb Gesicht der schweizer Brustkrebskommunikations Kampagne. Zudem ist sie Botschafterin der SOS Kinderdörfer und der Stiftungsidee kids to life der Anton Schrobenhauser Stiftung.
