Geri Halliwell (* 6. August 1972 in Watford, England; eigentlich Geraldine Estelle Halliwell) ist eine britische Pop-Sängerin.
Zwischen 1994 und dem 30. Mai 1998 war Halliwell, deren Mutter Spanierin und deren Vater schwedisch-englischer Herkunft ist, unter dem Spitznamen Ginger Spice Mitglied der Spice Girls, einer der bekanntesten Girlgroups der 1990er Jahre. Sie verließ die Gruppe drei Jahre vor deren Auflösung und veröffentlichte nur ein Jahr nach der Trennung von der Band ihr erstes Solo-Album Schizophonic. Sie konnte daraus – vor allem in ihrer Heimat – sehr erfolgreiche Singles auskoppeln. Die große Popularität Halliwells war auch auf ihre permanente Präsenz in der Boulevardpresse zurückzuführen, die unter anderem von kurzen Liaisons der Sängerin mit dem britischen Radiomoderator Chris Evans und Musikerkollegen Robbie Williams zu berichten wusste.

Sechs Jahre nach ihrer Trennung haben die Spice Girls im Juni 2007 eine Welttournee mit zwölf Konzerten in elf Städten für Ende 2007/Anfang 2008 angekündigt. Bei ihrem Comeback will die Gruppe in Originalbesetzung auftreten, somit auch mit Geri Halliwell, die schon 1998 die Gruppe verließ.
