Kristina Bach
Kristina Bach (bürgerlicher Name: Kerstin Bräuer, * 7. April 1962 in Mettmann) ist eine deutsche Schlagersängerin, Texterin und Musikproduzentin. Sie lebt mit ihrem Partner in Zürich.
Kristina Bach gewann mit dreizehn Jahren ein Nachwuchsfestival. Später spielte sie die Rolle der Rosa Fröhlich in Heinrich Manns Professor Unrat. Nach der Schule absolvierte sie eine Gesangs- und Tanzausbildung, daneben lernte sie Klavier und Gitarre. Ferner nahm sie Schauspielunterricht. Danach war sie Moderatorin verschiedener Fernsehproduktionen. Anfang der 1980er Jahre wurde sie als Sängerin entdeckt, nahm 1983 ihre erste Single auf und hatte 1984 ihren ersten Erfolg mit der Wiederaufnahme des alten Schlagers aus den 1960er Jahren Heißer Sand (damals gesungen von Mina). Ende der 1980er Jahre folgten weitere Hits und Auftritte bei Rundfunk und Fernsehen. Der große Durchbruch kam 1990 mit dem Jean Frankfurter-Titel "Erst ein Cappuccino". Seither gehört die Frau mit der 3 1/2 Oktaven-Stimme zu den erfolgreichsten Schlagersängerinnen Deutschlands. Sie gewann unter anderem 6 mal hintereinander die Deutsche Schlagerparade. Dies schaffte vor und nach ihr kein anderer Interpret. 1993 war sie sogar erfolgreich in den US-Billboard-Dance-Charts mit einer Dance-Version des Musicals "The phantom of the opera", mit der sie sich mehrere Wochen unter den Top 20 halten konnte. 1997 sang sie zusammen mit Drafi Deutscher den Titel "Gib' nicht auf", zugleich der Titelsong der Jose Carreras Gala desselben Jahres. Anfang der 1990er Jahre entdeckte sie die Sängerin Michelle. Für sie produzierte und textete sie einige ihrer ersten Erfolgstitel und verhalf ihr zum Erfolg. 1994 bewarb sich Bach mit dem Titel Matador bei den Deutschen Schlager-Festspielen und erreichte den 5. Platz. Als Texterin erhielt sie bei gleicher Veranstaltung die Silberne Muse für Platz 2, den Michelle mit dem Titel "Silbermond und Sternenfeuer" erreichte. Kristina Bach entdeckte und förderte auch die jetzt ganz bekannte - Jeanette Biedermann. Für sie textete und komponierte Kristina zum Großteil die ersten 5 Alben und erhielt dafür 4x Gold und 1x Platin.
