Gaby Dohm
 

Gabriele ‚Gaby‘ Helena Anna Dohm (* 23. September 1943 in Salzburg) ist eine deutsch-österreichische Schauspielerin.

Dohm ist die Tochter der Schauspieler Heli Finkenzeller und Will Dohm. Zunächst wollte Gaby Dohm Illustratorin von Kinderbüchern werden; dieser Traum scheiterte aber an den strengen Aufnahmebestimmungen der Berliner Akademie, für die sie noch zu jung war. Statt dessen erkannte die Schauspiellehrerin Elsa Bongers ihr Bühnentalent und nahm sie fortan unter ihre Fittiche. Ihre ersten Auftritte hatte Gaby Dohm am Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, der Durchbruch gelang ihr jedoch am Münchner Residenztheater, dem sie von 1966 bis Mitte der 80er Jahre treu blieb. Sie besetzte fast das gesamte Repertoire der klassischen und modernen Bühnenrollen, daneben arbeitete sie auch immer wieder fürs Fernsehen. Ihren ersten Fernsehauftritt hatte sie 1964 in Meine Nichte Susanne. 1971 verkörperte sie die weibliche Hauptrolle in dem Film Ein Fall für Herrn Schmidt von Falk Harnack. In der Folgezeit spielte sie mehrere Rollen in Krimiserien wie Der Kommissar, Derrick und Der Alte. Sechsmal war sie im Polizeiruf 110 zu sehen. Insgesamt spielte Dohm in über fünfzig Fernsehproduktionen mit, darunter auch in bayerisch-österreichischen Mundartstücken.

Bekanntheit erlangte Gaby Dohm durch die Fernsehserie Die Wiesingers und insbesondere als Schwester Christa in der Schwarzwaldklinik mit Klausjürgen Wussow, einem Publikumsmagneten, der ihr ungeahnte Popularität bescherte. Sie hat einen Sohn mit ihrem Ex-Mann Adalbert Plica. Heute lebt Gaby Dohm zusammen mit ihrem Lebensgefährten Peter Deutsch in München.
