Der Aufstieg dieses Mädchens ist nicht zu stoppen. Hana Soukupova ist keine Unbekannte mehr, dennoch erlebte die Karriere des 19jährigen Models im letzten Jahr einen enormen Aufschwung. Im Jahr 2001 gewann die damals 16-jährige Hana Soukupova den Topmodel Wettbewerb in ihrem Heimatland Tschechien. Seither ging ihre Karriere steil bergauf. Bei den Kollektionsschauen für Herbst/Winter 2003 eröffnete sie die Schauen für Dior und Versace. Bereits eine Saison später ist die langbeinige Schönheit auf allen Schauen namhafter Designer zu sehen.
Seit 2004 regiert Hana neben Daria Werbowy, Tiiu Kiuk und Julia Stegner die Editorial- und Kampagnen-Szene, mal ganz abgesehen von den unzähligen Catwalk-Auftritten. Die zarte Tschechin arbeitet sich langsam aber sicher auf die Titel der wichtigsten Magazine vor, erst im November 2004 zierte sie das Cover der russichen VOGUE, im Oktober 2004 war sie eines der Titelmädchen für die 25 Jubiläumsausgaben der deutschen VOGUE. Dass Steven Meisel ein Auge auf Hana geworfen hat, dürfte beweisen, dass der blauäugigen Beauty der Weg in den Model-Olymp gewiss ist.
