Eva Gaëlle Green [ɛva gʁeːn] (* 5. Juli 1980 in Paris) ist eine französische Schauspielerin.

Leben
Eva Green ist die Tochter der französischen Schauspielerin Marlène Jobert und des schwedischen Zahnarztes Walter Green. Sie hat eine Zwillingsschwester namens Joy. Nach ihrem Schauspielstudium in Paris und London stand sie auf der Bühne, bevor sie erstmals in dem Film Die Träumer (2003) von Bernardo Bertolucci auftrat. Als Ergänzung zur Schauspielerei komponiert sie laut Internet Movie Database Filmmusik, wobei ihr ihre Klavierausbildung zu Gute kommt. Weltweite Aufmerksamkeit erregte sie in dem Film Königreich der Himmel (2005) von Ridley Scott an der Seite von Orlando Bloom und Liam Neeson. Sie präsentierte in diesem Jahr zudem die Frühlings- und Sommerkollektion von Emporio Armani.

Im Februar 2006 wurde ihre Mitwirkung im James-Bond-Film Casino Royale bekanntgegeben, der im darauf folgenden November seine Welturaufführung erlebte. Darin spielte Green an der Seite von Daniel Craig als Bond die Buchhalterin Vesper Lynd, in die sich der Agent verliebt. Erneut mit Craig sowie Nicole Kidman dreht sie zurzeit den Fantasyfilm Der goldene Kompass, eine Romanverfilmung, die zu Weihnachten 2007 in die internationalen Kinos kommt.

Im September soll außerdem ein Werbespot mit Green veröffentlicht werden, worin sie unter Regie von Wong Kar-wai für den neuen Dior-Duft „Midnight Poison“ wirbt.
