Candice Accola (born May 13, 1987) is an American actress and singer, best known for her work on The CW TV series, The Vampire Diaries.

Candice Accola appeared in her first movie, Pirate Camp, in 2007. Accola has guest starred on popular TV series How I Met Your Mother, Supernatural and Greek. She has also appeared in films such as On The Doll, Juno, Deadgirl and X's & O's.

Accola is also a singer and has appeared as a background singer in the movies ****** Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert and ****** Montana: The Movie. She released an album, It’s Always the Innocent Ones, in 2008.

She currently appears as Caroline Forbes (previously named Caroline Truitt) in the TV series The Vampire Diaries.

Accola's future projects include Kingshighway and The Truth About Angels.
