Sabine Postel (* 10. Mai 1954 in Neustadt am Rübenberge) ist eine deutsche Schauspielerin, Hörspiel- und Synchronsprecherin.


Biografie Bereits als Schülerin stand die Kölnerin neben Marius Müller-Westernhagen für den Kinderfunk des WDR vor dem Mikrofon.

Nach dem Abitur besuchte sie von 1971 bis 1974 die Schauspielschule Bochum. Später studierte sie fünf Semester Germanistik und Bildende Kunst. Erste Engagements als Schauspielerin hatte Sabine Postel am Oldenburgischen Staatstheater, an den Bühnen der Stadt Essen und am Schauspiel Köln.

Neben der Schauspielerei arbeitete sie auch noch als Hörspiel- und als Synchronsprecherin. Seit Anfang der 80er Jahre ist sie als Darstellerin in TV-Filmen und -Serien auch einem breiten Fernsehpublikum bekannt.

Ihr Debüt gab sie in dem Fernsehspiel "Die Aufgabe des Dr. Graefe" (1982). 1986 erhielt sie für ihre Hauptrolle in dem Fernsehfilm "Der Antrag" den Jakob-Kaiser-Preis. 1992 wurde sie für ihre Rolle im Fernsehspiel "Schlafende Hunde" mit dem Fernsehpreis der Akademie der Künste (Berlin) ausgezeichnet. Für ihre Rolle in Nicht von schlechten Eltern erhielt Sabine Postel 1994 den Medienpreis „Bambi”.

Seit 1997 ist Sabine Postel vor allem als Kommissarin Inga Lürsen im Tatort von Radio Bremen bekannt.

Sabine Postel heiratete 1991 den Journalisten Otto Riewoldt (Sohn Moritz wurde 1993 geboren), der im Februar 2003 im Alter von 54 Jahren an Krebs starb. Seit 2005 engagiert sie sich als Botschafterin für das Bremer Zentrum für trauernde Kinder und Jugendliche e. V., um das Thema "Trauer von Kindern und Jugendlichen" in der Öffentlichkeit bekannter zu machen.
