Jodie Sweetin
 

Jodie Leanne Sweetin (* 19. Januar 1982 in Los Angeles, Kalifornien, USA) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin.

Jodie Sweetin war bereits im Alter von vier Jahren in einem Werbespot für Hot Dogs von Oscar Mayer zu sehen. Ihre erste Rolle hatte sie 1987 in der Fernsehserie Der Hogan-Clan. Sie war 1992 Synchronsprecherin von Lucy Van Pelt in dem Zeichentrickfilm It's Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown. Von 1987 bis 1995 spielte sie die Rolle von Stephanie Judith Tanner in der Comedyserie Full House. Sie hatte Gastauftritte in der Comedyserie Brotherly Love und der Jugendserie Party of Five.

Von 1995 bis 1999 besuchte sie eine High School in Los Alamitos, wo sie ihren Schulabschluss machte. Von 1999 bis 2003 studierte sie Kommunikationswissenschaften an der Chapman University in Orange im US-Bundesstaat Kalifornien. Dort war sie auch Mitglied in Amerikas ältester Studentenverbindung für Frauen, Alpha Phi. Nach ihrem Studium plante sie eine Karriere im Lehramt.

Am 27. Juli 2002 heiratete Jodie Sweetin. Zur Zeremonie waren neben ihrer Familie und Freunden auch die Darsteller von Full House eingeladen. Am 1. Februar 2006 sprach sie bei einem Fernsehauftritt in der Sendung Good Morning America über ihre zweijährige Meth-Abhängigkeit, an der sie bis März 2005 gelitten hatte. Wegen dieser Drogenabhängigkeit reichte ihr Ehemann die Scheidung ein, weil sein Beruf als Polizist gefährdet war. Jodie Sweetin lebt heute in Los Alamitos.

Am 14. Juli 2007 heiratete Jodie Sweetin in Las Vegas erneut, ihr Mann ist Bühnenbildner. Zur Zeit erwarten sie ihr erstes Kind.
