Melissa Suzanne George (* 6. August 1976 in Perth, Westaustralien) ist eine australische Schauspielerin und Athletin, die sowohl in amerikanischen, als auch australischen Filmen und Fernsehserien mitgewirkt hat. Bevor sie bei der Fernsehserie Home and Away (1993-1996) eine Rolle spielte, war sie australischer Meister im Rollerskating. Nachdem sie nach Los Angeles umgezogen war, bekam sie kleine Rollen in einigen Filmen, darunter in Mulholland Drive – Straße der Finsternis, Down With Love und Dark City. Des Weiteren bekam sie Rollen bei verschiedenen Fernsehserien. Diese Serien waren aber alle nicht erfolgreich und wurden schnell wieder abgesetzt.

Von 2003 bis 2004 spielte sie bei der amerikanischen Fernsehserie Alias - Die Agentin eine Hauptrolle. 2005 spielte sie zusammen mit Ryan Reynolds im Remake von The Amityville Horror die Rolle der Kathy Lutz. Sie ist verheiratet mit dem chilenischen Geschäftsmann Claudio Dabed und Stiefmutter seiner Tochter Martina.

Zurzeit wirbt sie für den Film Entgleist mit Clive Owen und Jennifer Aniston. Sie spielt darin die Rolle der Deanna Schine. 2006 hatte sie eine Rolle in John Stockwells Horrorfilm Turistas.

Nachdem sie Home and Away verlassen hatte, versuchte George, ihr „braves Mädchen“-Image loszuwerden und ließ sich oben ohne im Black + White abbilden. Sie machte auch ein Interview und Nacktfotos für den australischen Playboy.
