Gerit Kling

Gerit Kling (* 21. April 1965 in Altenburg, Thüringen) ist eine deutsche Schauspielerin.

Gerit Kling wuchs als Tochter eines Dokumentarfilm-Produktionsleiters der DEFA gemeinsam mit ihrer 5 Jahre jüngeren Schwester, der Schauspielerin Anja Kling, im brandenburgischen Wilhelmshorst bei Potsdam auf, wo sie auch heute wieder mit ihrer Familie (im Nachbarhaus der Eltern) lebt.

Sie wollte von Kindesbeinen an Schauspielerin werden und stand bereits im Alter von 5 Jahren erstmals für Konrad Wolfs Film Goya vor der Kamera.

Nach dem Schulabschluß der 10.Klasse absolvierte sie ab 1981 eine Ausbildung zur Kellnerin/Serviererin und nahm danach ein Schauspielstudium an der Hochschule für Schauspielkunst „Ernst Busch“ Berlin auf. Es folgten mehrere Theaterengagements, so am Deutschen Theater Berlin, am Theater Brandenburg, am Staatstheater Schwerin, am Schauspielhaus Nürnberg und im Theater am Kurfürstendamm in Berlin.

Mit der Hauptrolle in der Serie der ARD Die Gerichtsreporterin gelang ihr der bis heute anhaltende erfolgreiche Durchbruch im gesamtdeutschen Fernsehen.

Als Intrigantin ist sie 2006 auf der Insel Rügen zu sehen. Die Störtebeker-Festspiele bereichert sie als böse Gräfin von Dooren.
