Steckbrief

Anja Kling (* 22. März 1970 in Potsdam) ist eine deutsche Schauspielerin. Sie ist die jüngere Schwester der Schauspielerin Gerit Kling. Mit ihr und den beiden Familien lebt sie gemeinsam in einem Haus in Wilhelmshorst (bei Potsdam).

Bereits 1988 wurde sie für die Hauptrolle als junge Mutter in Herrmann Zschoches Grüne Hochzeit entdeckt und engagiert. Nach ihrem Abitur (1989 in Potsdam) nahm sie Schauspielunterricht.

Sie zeigte ihre Vielseitigkeit in vielen Film- und Fernsehproduktionen. 1995 erhielt sie die Goldene Kamera als beste Nachwuchsschauspielerin.

1998 erhielt sie die Goldene Nymphe und den internationalen Kritikerpreis für La Piovra 8.

Dem breiten Kinopublikum wurde sie durch den Film (T)Raumschiff Surprise – Periode 1 bekannt. Ihre Darstellung der Königin Metapha stellte eine Parodie auf die Star-Wars-Figuren Prinzessin Leia und Padmé Amidala dar. Aus diesem Film blieb auch ihr origineller Zungenkuss auf die Nase ihres Filmpartners Sky du Mont in Erinnerung.

Seit 2004 spielt sie bei Christian Tramitz in dessen Fernsehserie Tramitz & Friends mit.
