Biografie
Nicole Eggert war ein bekannter US-amerikanischer Kinderstar. Die von ihrer Mutter geförderte Eggert begann schon im frühen Kindesalter damit, an Schönheitswettbewerben teilzunehmen und wurde u. a. im Alter von fünf Jahren Miss Universe. Ein Agent verschaffte ihr einen Werbespot, in dem Eggert Baby Shampoo anpries. 1981, im Alter von acht Jahren, war Eggert in dem Film Rich and Famous, an der Seite von etablierten Schauspielerinnen wie Jacqueline Bisset und Candice Bergen zu sehen. Eggert hatte in der Folgezeit zahlreiche Auftritte im US-amerikanischen Fernsehen, unter anderem in Aaron Spellings Fernsehserie TJ Hooker, mit William Shatner und Heather Locklear. Ihr Durchbruch im Fernsehen war die Rolle der Jamie Powell in der Comedy-Serie Charles in Charge mit Scott Baio in der Titelrolle.

1992 wurde sie einem weltweiten Publikum durch ihre Rolle der Rettungsschwimmerin Summer Quinn in der sehr erfolgreichen Fernsehserie Baywatch bekannt. Jedoch kam es zwischen Eggert und Produzent David Hasselhoff zu zahlreichen Meinungsverschiedenheiten am Set, wie Hasselshofs lapidare Antwort 1994 nach Nicole Eggerts Rausschmiss aus der Serie bewies: "Wir hätten es wissen müssen, sie sagte schon das erste Mal, als sie im Wasser stand, das Wasser ist zu kalt und sie wolle wichtigere Arbeit machen.". Nicole Eggert konnte sich nicht ganz mit dem Baywatch-Look identifizieren, ließ sich jedoch wie ihre Baywatch-Kollegin Pamela Anderson 1993 ihre Brüste durch Implantate chirurgisch vergrößern, um sie ein halbes Jahr später wieder verkleinern zu lassen. Zu ihrem Rausschmiss sagte sie, diese Serie habe zu viele Hintern und zu viele Busen. Trotzdem war Eggert erneut als Summer Quinn in dem 2003 ausgestrahlten Fernsehfilm Baywatch: Hochzeit auf Hawaii zu sehen.

Die nur 1,60 m große Nicole Eggert ist seit dem Jahr 2000 mit ihrem Schauspielkollegen Justin Herwick verheiratet. Ihre gemeinsame Tochter Dilyn erblickte 1998 das Licht der Welt.
