Mariella Gräfin von Faber-Castell (* 2. April 1969 in Leningrad/Sowjetunion), besser bekannt unter ihrem Geburtsnamen Mariella Ahrens, ist eine deutsche Schauspielerin.

Ahrens wurde in Leningrad (St. Petersburg) als Tochter eines deutschen Computerspezialisten und einer bulgarischen Augenärztin geboren. 1987 beendete sie ihre Lehre an der Berliner Berufsfachschule Ilse Stöbe als Facharbeiter für Schreibtechnik. Ihre Ausbildung als Schauspielerin absolvierte sie an der Fritz-Kirchhoff-Schauspiel-Schule Der Kreis in Berlin. Erste Auftritte hatte sie im Kleinen Theater im Haus der Jungen Talente in Berlin und in Fernsehfilmen.

Neben Rollen in Fernsehserien wie "SOKO Leipzig", "Sabine", "Im Namen des Gesetzes" spielte sie auch in der ZDF-Produktion „Die Wüstenrose“ sowie vielen weiteren ZDF-Produktionen, wie „Traumzeit“ und Rosamunde-Pilcher-Verfilmungen, mit. Weiterhin war sie Teilnehmerin der ersten Staffel der RTL-Show Ich bin ein Star – Holt mich hier raus!.

Am 12. Dezember 2006 heiratete Ahrens standesamtlich in New York City Patrick Graf von Faber-Castell (* 4. Juni 1965). Das Paar lernte sich auf der Hochzeit von Verona und Franjo Pooth in Wien im September 2005 kennen und war seit September 2006 verlobt. Die kirchliche Trauung fand am 7. Juli 2007 in der Martin-Luther-Kirche in Stein bei Nürnberg statt. Im März 2007 brachte sie eine Tochter zur Welt. Ihre erste Tochter aus einer vorangegangenen Beziehung wurde von Patrick Graf von Faber-Castell adoptiert.[1]

Ahrens ist Gründungsmitglied, Schirmherrin und stellvertretende Vorsitzende von „Lebensherbst“, einem Verein zur Unterstützung pflegebedürftiger, älterer Menschen.
