Dorkas Kiefer
 

Dorkas Kiefer (* 21. Juni 1972 in Offenbach am Main) ist eine deutsche Schauspielerin und Sängerin. Sie wuchs in Braunfels an der Lahn auf. Ihre Mutter ist eine Gospelsängerin aus Louisiana. Ihr Vater war vor seiner Heirat mit Dorkas' Mutter katholischer Priester, heute ist er Religionslehrer. Ihr Bruder Vinzenz Kiefer ist ebenfalls Schauspieler.

Wirken
Dorkas Kiefer stand schon mit neun Jahren für ein Kindermusical in Wetzlar auf der Bühne. Sie nahm Gesangs-, Klavier-, Ballett-, Stepp- und Tanzunterricht. Als sie 1988 von Ralph Siegel einen Plattenvertrag bekam, nahm sie sechs Singles auf, entschied sich dann aber doch für die Schauspielerei. Sie wirkte in diversen Musicals mit und vertrat Deutschland mit der Gruppe Mekado beim Eurovision Song Contest 1994, bevor sie 1996 in der Seifenoper Unter uns ihr Fernsehdebüt gab; im Sommer des selben Jahres veröffentlichte das Magazin Playboy eine Serie Nacktfotos mit Dorkas Kiefer. Sie stand für diverse Kinofilme vor der Kamera und tourte als Gastsängerin mit Udo Lindenberg durch Deutschland. Seit 2007 spricht sie die Rolle der Anna Siebert in der Hörspiel-Soap ...und nebenbei Liebe.
