Anne Gesthuysen (* 2. Oktober 1969) ist eine deutsche Journalistin und Moderatorin des ARD-Morgenmagazins.
Anne Gesthuysen wuchs am Niederrhein auf. Nach dem Abitur begann sie ein Journalistik-Studium an der Universität Dortmund. Im Alter von 17 Jahren sammelte sie erste journalistische Erfahrungen als Hörfunkreporterin für den WDR (Außenstudio-Kleve) während eines Schülerpraktikums. Als freie Autorin war sie von 1991 - 1997 für die Sender WDR, VOX und ZDF tätig.
Weitere Stationen in ihrem beruflichen Werdegang:
Nach dem Studium Moderatorin im WDR-Studio Münster. Danach Moderatorin im Frühstücksfernsehen des Privatsenders RTL Television. Diese Sendung wurde nach kurzer Zeit wieder eingestellt. Nach Ihrer Rückkehr zum WDR war sie zunächst als Moderatorin für die Lokalzeit in Essen tätig. Von 2001 bis 2004 Moderation der Aktuellen Stunde des WDR. Seit März 2004 moderiert sie zusammen mit Sven Lorig das vom WDR produzierte ARD-Morgenmagazin. 2005 nahm sie neben Dariusz Michalczewski, Roberto Blanco, Ralf Möller, Jeanette Biedermann und Sven Hannawald und anderen Prominenten bei der ARD-Star-Tour teil. 2006 hatte sie eine Gastrolle in der ARD-Serie Verbotene Liebe und spielte sich selbst. Im Februar 2007 übernahm sie zudem die Moderation der WDR-Sendung „Streitfall“ zusammen mit ihrem ARD-Morgenmagazin-Kollegen.
Eine ihrer Freizeitbeschäftigungen ist das Laufen. So hat sie bereits an verschiedenen Marathonläufen (Köln-Marathon 2003 in 4h 25min) teilgenommen. Für das Buch „Nichtraucher - aber bitte für immer“ von Petra Neumayer hat sie zudem das Vorwort geschrieben.
Ende Oktober 2007 meldeten verschiedene Tageszeitungen, dass Anne Gesthuysen seit einiger Zeit mit dem Fernsehmoderator Frank Plasberg liiert sei.
