Anna Faris
Anna Kay Faris (* 29. November 1976 in Baltimore, Maryland) ist eine US-Amerikanische Schauspielerin.
Faris spielte im Alter von neun Jahren am Seattle Repretory Theatre. Sie studierte Anglistik an der University of Washington. Nach ihrem Filmdebüt in Lovers Lane (1999) zog sie nach Los Angeles. In den Filmen Scary Movie (2000), Scary Movie 2 (2001) Scary Movie 3 (2003) und Scary Movie 4 (2006) spielte sie die Hauptrolle. Für die Horrorfilmparodie Scary Movie wurde sie für den MTV Movie Award in zwei Kategorien nominiert. Seit 2004 ist sie mit dem Schauspieler Ben Indra verheiratet, den sie 1999 am Set von Lovers Lane kennen gelernt hatte. Am 3. April reichte sie jedoch die Scheidung ein(1). Nach Lost in Translation gelang es ihr mit Brokeback Mountain, auch eine ernste Seite zu zeigen. |
