SEX ist der Titel eines Bildbandes über die Künstlerin Madonna mit erotischen Fotografien von Steven Meisel. Für die Gestaltung war der renommierte Designer Glenn O’Brien zuständig. Die Texte wurden von Madonna selbst verfasst.

Die Veröffentlichung des Buchs am 21. Oktober 1992 sorgte weltweit für einen geplanten Skandal: Die erfolgreiche Sängerin Madonna hatte ein Buch veröffentlicht, das die Grenzen zur Pornografie berührte und auf sadomoschistischen Konzepten beruht, weswegen das Buch in vielen Ländern verboten wurde. Das Buch wurde weltweit 1,5 Millionen mal verkauft und ist somit das erfolgreichste Coffee Table Book aller Zeiten.
