Courtney Thorne-Smith (* 8. November 1967 in San Francisco, Kalifornien) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin.
Thorne-Smith besuchte die Tamalpais High School sowie die Menlo-Atherton Highschool und studierte Schauspiel an der Ensemble Theatre Company. Sie spielte von 1992 bis 1997 in der Fernsehserie Melrose Place und von 1997 bis 2002 in der Fernsehserie Ally McBeal mit.

Für die Rolle der Anwältin Georgia Thomas in Ally McBeal gewann sie 1999 den Screen Actors Guild Award. 1998 und 2000 wurde sie für den gleichen Preis nominiert.

Von 2001 bis 2009 spielte sie neben James Belushi und Kimberly Williams-Paisley in der Fernsehserie Immer wieder Jim.

Thorne-Smith war in den Jahren 2000 bis 2001 mit dem Genetiker Andrew Conrad verheiratet. Am 1. Januar 2007 wurde ihre Ehe mit dem Medienunternehmer Roger Fishman geschlossen. Am 11. Januar 2008 wurde das erste Kind des Paares, ein Junge, geboren.
