Nazan Eckes (* 9. Mai 1976 als Nazan Üngör in Köln) ist eine Fernsehmoderatorin. Sie ist Tochter türkischer Einwanderer aus Eskişehir und seit Februar 2000 mit Claus Eckes verheiratet.

Werdegang

1995 bestand sie ihr Abitur in Leverkusen. Danach machte sie ein Praktikum bei VIVA, auf das ein 18-monatiges Volontariat beim gleichen Sender folgte. 1998 wurde sie dann ebenfalls bei VIVA fest eingestellt, nebenbei war sie noch von 1998-1999 freie Mitarbeiterin der türkischen Lokalzeitung Haftalik Posta. 1999 schaffte sie den Sprung zu RTL Nord und übernahm die Wettermoderation des Lokalmagazins Guten Abend RTL. Im Jahr 2000 ging sie dann zu RTL West und war dort die stellvertretende Wetterfee beim Lokalmagazin. Auch wurde sie zu diesem Zeitpunkt Reporterin. Ab 28. Januar 2003 moderiert sie auch regelmäßig die RTL II News. Seit Juni 2003 ist sie die Urlaubsvertretung bei RTL Exclusiv und Life! - Die Lust zu leben. Im Oktober 2003 moderierte sie mit Ole Tillmann die World Music Awards und mit Mike Krüger Deutschlands beste Doppelgänger. Weiterhin moderiert Eckes mit Kai Ebel das Magazin Formel Exclusiv.

Ab Juni 2004 war Eckes als Moderatorin bei Life! - Die Lust zu leben tätig und übernahm ebenfalls 2004 die Moderation bei Bosporus Trend und beim RTL II Jahresrückblick. Im Jahr 2005 übernahm sie die Schwangerschaftsvertretung für Petra Neftel in EXPLOSIV-Weekend. 2006 machte sie die Moderation bei Let’s Dance mit Hape Kerkeling, im Oktober selbigen Jahres war sie für die Moderation „Das große TV-Quiz“, DVD-Quiz-Spiel mit der GameDisk von RTL und NORIS Entertainment zuständig und spielte eine Journalistin in der deutschen Komödie Crazy Race 3 – Sie knacken jedes Schloss.

Anfang April 2007 geriet Eckes aufgrund der Einreichung der Scheidung von ihrem Ehemann in die deutsche Klatschpresse.

Von Mitte Mai bis Ende Juni 2007 moderierte sie wieder zusammen mit Hape Kerkeling die zweite Staffel von Let’s Dance.
