Early life

Fowler was born as Maria Catherine Fowler and brought up in Derby, England. Her secondary school was Littleover Community School.[2] She then went on to study Fine and Performing arts at Burton College.
Career

Fowler decision to start modeling came after sending photos to men's magazine Zoo Weekly and to her surprise, the magazine invited her into their studios for a photo shoot. Prior to this Fowler modelled the football kits for both Burton Albion and Derby County with her earliest photos being sent to Zoo Weekly securing her consecutive appearances in the magazines' Terrance Talent section. Within weeks she began appearing in major men's magazines in the UK (topless modelling). It was at this time that she decided to pursue modelling as a career.[3] Fowler has appeared in FHM, Maxim, Nuts, Front, Zoo Weekly, That's Life, Max Power, Fast Car, and Ice magazines as well as The Star and The Daily Mirror newspapers.[4]

In 2010, Fowler appeared in the ITV2 reality television series The Only Way Is Essex.[5]
Personal life

Maria Dated footballer James Meredith [6] Although the couple split in 2007.

Fowler has recently been brought under considerable press attention (July 2009) due to alleged affair with widower 'Jack Tweed'. This was Published in the 'News Of The World' Newspaper, to which Fowler is yet to confirm or deny the Story.[7] Shortly Following this Story, Maria's Birthday Party Was Heavily featured in UK Tabloids and Gossip columns.,[8] mainly due to her involvement with 'Aston Merrygold', one of the X-Factor finalists.
