Daisy May Keeley Coburn (born 1993), better known by her stage name Daisy Dares You, is a British singer and songwriter. The stage name is a direct reference to the character of the same name from the 1990s British television show ZZZap!.
She picked up widespread promotional coverage in the media before she formally released any music. She has been profiled by The Times, the BBC,and The Guardian as a young artist to watch for in 2010.
She is managed by Empire, and signed to Jive, a subsidiary of Sony Records.She mainly uses social networking websites to broadcast her music, such as MySpace where she posts mostly demos, and her YouTube channel where the video for her song "Daisy Dares You" can be found.
Her debut single was available to download from 28 February 2010 and is called "Number One Enemy", featuring UK rap artist Chipmunk. It's about Daisy arguing with her sister. The video for this song attracted around 160,000 views in the first week and was 4Music's VIP track for the week commencing 10 January 2010.
Her second single "Rosie" was due for release in July 2010 but the release was cancelled due to lack of radio support. Her debut album Rush is scheduled for release in Augus
