I was born in Liverpool on the 20th July. As a little girl, I was always a sporty person with lots of energy. I could never sit still (still can't). I'm sure my Dad wanted a boy because I was in every sports team going, from swimming to squash, athletics to golf. I did it all!
In the earlier years of school, I went to St. Gabriel's Primary School in Huyton, Liverpool and then got enrolled to St. Hilda's girls High school in Sefton Park, Liverpool. I was never really one for studying, I always wanted to play sports or head off to my swimming classes, which were more or less on every night! But some how left with 8 GCSE's.
From there I took my A-levels at Cronton Sixth form college, leaving with an A-level in Physical Education and 2 A-levels in Leisure and Recreation.
I first started becoming interested in modelling, when my Dad and sister saw a modelling competition in the local newspaper. I always thought I was never good enough, until I entered and came 2nd!
I was always used to sporting competitions and throughout my schooling, I took part in swimming, cross-country running and athletics competitions and was always pretty successful. I both ran and swam for the city of Liverpool.
I was soon to discover that these competitions were much different from the modelling competitions I was about to take part in!
At first I was so nervous. I didn't think I could even get up on the stage, but it then became so natural to me and I became more confident! Since then, I have taken part in the Miss Great Britain competition, in which i got in to the final. I then won the Miss Maxim UK title and I am now the Miss Maxim Global winner, the final being held in Thailand. I also have my own 2 page spread in Maxim magazine every month, so make sure you check it out!
