Kelly Ann Hu

Kelly is a fourth-generation American with Chinese, Hawaiian and English ancestry. Her father, Herbert, was a salesman and her mother, Juanita, worked many odd jobs to help support the family. She has one older brother, Glenn. She is a former Miss Teen USA, and modeled in Japan and Italy for several months before deciding to relocate to L.A. and try her hand at show business. She got her break on TV's "Growing Pains" (1985) in 1987 and never looked back.

Kelly Hu (* 13. Februar 1968 in Honolulu, Hawaii) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin.

Karriere
Nach Abschluss der Highschool nahm Hu an der Wahl zur Miss Teen USA 1985 teil. Dort belegte sie den ersten Platz und startete eine Modellaufbahn in Italien und Japan. 1987 kam Hu zurück in die USA und widmete sich der Schauspielerei. Nach einigen kleinen Serien bekam sie 1989 ihre erste Filmrolle in Freitag der 13. Teil VIII – Todesfalle Manhattan. Nachdem sie 1991 in The Doors zu sehen war, spielte Hu wieder überwiegend Fernsehrollen. Seit dem Jahr 2002 ist sie wieder vermehrt im Kino zu sehen.
