Daphne Zuniga (* 28. Oktober 1962 in Berkeley in Kalifornien; gebürtig Daphne Eurydice Zúñiga) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin.

Leben und Leistungen

Zunigas Vater immigrierte in die USA aus Guatemala. Die Schauspielerin absolvierte 1980 die Woodstock Union High School. Sie spielte in Filmen wie Der Volltreffer aus dem Jahr 1985 (zusammen mit John Cusack und Tim Robbins), Spaceballs aus dem Jahr 1987 (zusammen mit Mel Brooks, Rick Moranis und Bill Pullman), Last Rites – Im Fegefeuer der Sünde aus dem Jahr 1988 (zusammen mit Tom Berenger) und Die Fliege 2 aus dem Jahr 1989 (zusammen mit Eric Stoltz) mit. Bekannt ist sie auch aus der Fernsehserie Melrose Place. In der fünften Staffel der Dramaserie One Tree Hill spielte sie die Rolle von Victoria Davis, die sich als Mutter des Hauptcharakters Brooke (Sophia Bush) herausstellt.

Anekdotisches

Am Anfang der Karriere teilte Zuniga zeitweise ein Wohnhaus mit Meg Ryan.
