Sandi Thom (* 11. August 1981 in Banff, Schottland) ist eine schottische Sängerin und Songwriter. Sie wurde bekannt, als sie im Internet von ihrem Zuhause aus ihre Musik komponierte und spielte.

Karriere

Sandi Thom installierte eine Webcam in ihrem Zimmer um ihr Lied I Wish I Was a Punk-Rocker zu spielen, welches sie eigentlich auf der Bühne spielen wollte. Da sie aber in finanziellen Schwierigkeiten war, sind die Kosten für einen öffentlichen Auftritt zu hoch gewesen. Ihr Projekt nannte sie 21 Nights From Tooting. Die Single erreichte Platz 1 der UK Top 40.
