Tamara Taylor

Tamara Taylor (* 27. September 1970 in Toronto) ist eine kanadische Schauspielerin.

Leben und Leistungen

Taylors Vater war afrokanadischer Abstammung, die Vorfahren ihrer Mutter kamen aus Schottland. Die Schauspielerin debütierte in einer Folge der Fernsehserie College Fieber aus dem Jahr 1991, sie war auch in der Fernsehwerbung zu sehen. In den Jahren 1996 bis 1997 war sie in der Fernsehserie Party of Five zu sehen. In der Komödie Senseless (1998 ) spielte sie die Rolle von Janice, der Freundin des Hauptcharakters Darryl Witherspoon (Marlon Wayans). In der für das Fernsehen produzierten Filmbiografie Die Geschichte der Dorothy Dandridge (1999) trat sie an der Seite von Halle Berry auf. Nach einigen Gastrollen in Fernsehserien wie CSI: Miami (2004) spielte sie eine der größeren Rollen in der Filmkomödie Diary of a Mad Black Woman (2005).
