Saskia Vester (* 24. Juli 1959 in Saarbrücken, Saarland) ist eine deutsche Schauspielerin.

Leben

Saskia Vester ist die Tochter des Biochemikers und Umweltexperten Frederic Vester und die Schwester der Schauspielerin Madeleine Vester. Bis zu ihrem 6. Lebensjahr lebte die Familie in Saarbrücken-Burbach in der Nähe der Burbacher Hütte und zog dann nach München.

Nach Abschluss ihrer Ausbildung an der Neuen Münchner Schauspielschule spielte Vester seit 1981 Theater neben weiteren an den Städtischen Bühnen Augsburg und Nürnberg, am Theater Ingolstadt, in der Kampnagelfabrik Hamburg sowie am Theater 44 und an der Komödie im Bayerischen Hof in München. Parallel dazu (und seit dem Jahr 2000 ausschließlich) wirkte sie in zahlreichen Kino- und TV-Filmen sowie in Fernsehserien mit. 1985 veröffentlichte Vester ihren Roman Pols Reise. In Herbert und Schnipsi trat sie als Berta, Willis Frau, auf.

Saskia Vester lebt mit ihrem Mann, dem Fernsehproduzenten Robbie Flörke, und zwei gemeinsamen Kindern in München.
