Anja Kling (* 22. März 1970 in Wilhelmshorst) ist eine deutsche Schauspielerin und Moderatorin.
Leben
Anja Kling, die in der DDR geboren wurde, besuchte die Einheitsschule. Kling erinnert sich, dass sich in ihrer Schultüte eine Pionieruniform befand. An der Polytechnischen Oberschule nahm sie an Arbeitseinsätzen (Montage von Fahrkartenentwerter) teil. Zivilen Ungehorsam bewies sie, als sie die Uniform, die sie für die Zivilverteidigung tragen sollte, umnähte.
Ursprünglich wollte Kling nach dem Abitur Medizin studieren, wurde jedoch 1987/88 mit einer Hauptrolle als junge Mutter in dem DEFA-Kinofilm von Herrmann Zschoches Grüne Hochzeit entdeckt und engagiert. 1989, im Jahr der Wende machte sie ihr Abitur in Potsdam und ging danach auf die Schauspielschule.
Sie war zwei Jahre als Moderatorin der DFF-Fernsehsendung „Elf 99“ das Mädchenmagazin „Paula“ tätig.
Anja Kling zeigte ihre Vielseitigkeit in vielen Film- und Fernsehproduktionen. 1995 erhielt sie die Goldene Kamera als beste Nachwuchsschauspielerin, 1998 die Goldene Nymphe und den internationalen Kritikerpreis für La Piovra 8, ebenso erhielt sie den Deutschen Comedypreis 2004 und den Bambi.
1997 synchronisierte (Sprache) sie die weibliche Hauptrolle der Anastasia im gleichnamigem Zeichentrickfilm von 20th-Century-Fox. Den Gesang der Anastasia übernahm Jana Werner.
Einem größeren Kinopublikum wurde sie durch den Film (T)Raumschiff Surprise – Periode 1 bekannt. Ihre Darstellung der Königin Metapha stellte eine Parodie auf die Star-Wars-Figuren Prinzessin Leia und Padmé Amidala dar.
Seit 2004 spielt sie bei Christian Tramitz in dessen Fernsehserie Tramitz & Friends mit.
2007 erschien ihr Buch „Meine kleine Großfamilie“.
Anja Kling ist die jüngere Schwester der Schauspielerin Gerit Kling. Sie lebt in Wilhelmshorst bei Potsdam und hat mit ihrem Lebensgefährten zwei Kinder.
