Gaby Papenburg

Gabriele Papenburg (* 27. Februar 1960 in Walsrode) ist eine deutsche Fernsehmoderatorin.

Nach dem Abitur studierte Gabriele Papenburg von 1978 – 1984 in Bonn und Hamburg vergleichende Literaturwissenschaften und schloss das Studium als Magister artium ab.
1984 absolvierte Gabriele Papenburg ein Volontariat beim deutschen Fernsehsender Sat.1 und arbeitete später als Redakteurin und Fernsehmoderatorin für die Fernsehsendung Sat.1 Blick.
Ab 1987 präsentierte Gabriele Papenburg zusätzlich das Sat.1-Frühstücksfernsehen und Live-Sportübertragungen wie zum Beispiel Tennis.
Im Februar 1992 wechselte sie dann endgültig in die Sportredaktion von Sat.1. Sie ist als Anchorwoman der Fußballsendung ran bekannt.
Seit 1993 gehört sie zum festen Moderatorenstamm des Senders und moderiert unter anderem die Magazine Sat.1 am Abend, Sat.1 am Mittag und Blitz.
Ab Juni 2004 moderierte sie N24 Transportwelt – das Fernfahrermagazin bei N24.
Von Oktober 2007 bis Januar 2009 moderierte Papenburg die Wochenendausgaben der Fernsehsendung Das Sat.1-Magazin. Außerdem moderiert sie seit 2008 wieder vertretungsweise das Sat.1-Frühstücksfernsehen.

Gabriele Papenburg lebt mit Ihrem Mann und zwei Kindern in Berlin. Dort engagiert sie sich bei einer Hilfsorganisation (jugend-notmail.de), die sich um die Probleme Jugendlicher kümmert.
