Anja Kohl

Anja Kohl wurde 1970 in Aschaffenburg geboren. Nach dem Abitur studierte sie an
der Johannes-Gutenberg Universität in Mainz Germanistik, Publizistik und
Politikwissenschaft. Abschluss des Studiums mit dem Magister Artium.
Bereits während des Studiums absolvierte sie zahlreiche Praktika und war als freie
Mitarbeiterin beim Radio und Fernsehen tätig, u.a. beim Hessischen Rundfunk, RTL
aktuell und der Fernsehnachrichtenagentur WTN in Frankfurt.
Nach Tätigkeit als Moderatorin und Redakteurin beim Wirtschafts-Sender Bloomberg
TV in London wechselte sie 1998 zum Fernseh-Nachrichtensender n-tv in Berlin und
war dort als Moderatorin und Autorin von Filmbeiträgen tätig.
Unter anderem moderierte sie die Sendungen „Märkte am Morgen“ und das
Existenzgründungsmagazin „Gründer TV“ und war als Chefin vom Dienst
verantwortlich für die redaktionelle Planung und den Sendeablauf der „Telebörse“.
Nach Mitarbeit in der Redaktion „Wiso“ des ZDF ist sie seit September 2001
Moderatorin und Redakteurin beim Hessischen Rundfunk.
Sie moderiert regelmäßig in der ARD die „Börse im Ersten“ vor der 20 Uhr
Tageschau. Sie berichtet zudem live von der Börse für die ARD-Sendungen
„Tagesthemen“, „Tagesschau“, „Morgenmagazin“ und „Mittagsmagazin“ und für das
„Hessen-Fernsehen“.
Zudem moderiert sie gelegentlich Veranstaltungen für Unternehmen und
Organisationen und ist immer wieder Experten- und Talkgast in (Informations-)
Sendungen der ARD (Hart aber fair (WDR), Paroli (NDR), Frank Elstner – Menschen
der Woche (SWR)).
2006 wurde Anja Kohl von „medium – magazin für Journalisten“ unter die 101
Journalisten des Jahres gewählt. In der Kategorie Wirtschaftsjournalismus im
Fernsehen belegte sie Platz zwei, in der Kategorie Wirtschaft (inklusive Presse und
Hörfunk) Platz fünf.
