Laura Gemser

Laura Gemser (* 5. Oktober 1950 auf Java; eigentlich Laurette Marcia Gemser) ist eine indonesische Schauspielerin, ursprünglich bekannt geworden als Softpornodarstellerin. Sie gilt als eine der bekanntesten Ikonen der Softpornoindustrie der 1970er.

Nachdem sich Laura Gemser zunächst in den Niederlanden für einige Magazine ablichten ließ, begann sie ab 1974 in Softpornofilmen mitzuwirken. International bekannt wurde sie mit ihren Rollen in den Black Emanuelle-Filmen des italienischen Regisseurs Joe D'Amato. Dessen Filme gelten heute als Kultfilme des italienischen Erotik- und Horrorfilms. In den 1980er Jahren wechselte sie zu Action- und Science-Fiction-Filmen.

1976 heiratete Gemser den italienischen Schauspieler Gabriele Tinti. Seit dessen Tod am 12. November 1991 lebt sie zurückgezogen in Italien.
