Valeria Bruni

Valeria Bruni (* 16. November 1964 in Turin) ist eine italienische Schauspielerin und Filmregisseurin.

Ab dem neunten Lebensjahr wuchs Bruni Tedeschi in Frankreich auf. Ihre Lehrer an der Schauspielschule von Nanterre waren Patrice Chéreau und Pierre Romans. Ihre erste Hauptrolle spielte sie im Jahr 1987 in dem Film Hôtel de France von Patrice Chéreau. 2003 debütierte sie als Regisseurin mit der Komödie Il est plus facile pour un chameau..., die ihr hartes Los als Industriellen-Tochter ironisch thematisiert. 2004 war sie Jurymitglied der Berlinale.

Sie ist die Schwester von Carla Bruni.
