Jana Flötotto was discovered at the age of 19 some five years ago. Starting off at VIVA models she soon went on to sign with Mega Model Agency when her mentor made the same move and opened up the Berlin branch of Mega. While being a model, she has also done some acting for German television, but stresses that her priority is fashion.
Jana’s career kick-started when she drew first international attention, appearing in Abercrombie & Fitch’s 2005 ad campaign that was shot by Bruce Weber. Soon, editorials in ELLE UK, Numéro and Vogue Russia, to name just a few, and jobs for Vivienne Westwood, Yohji Yamamoto, Kenzo and Valentino followed. She graced the covers of Harper’s Bazaar, Crystalized and L’Officiel and after Abercrombie & Fitch also appeared in campaigns for Emanuel Ungaro, Gas, Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, Strenesse Blue and Trussardi, which, all in all, makes for an impressive portfolio.
Not less experienced on the catwalk, Jana Flötotto already did runway shows for Chanel, Gucci and Alexander McQueen.
Prestigious fashion photographers, such as Tom Munro, Satoshi and Neil Kirk appreciate her professionalism.
