Leben und Leistungen [Bearbeiten]

Mélanie Doutey wurde 1978 als Tochter des Theaterschauspielers und -regisseurs Alain Doutey und der Filmschauspielerin Arielle Séménoff in Paris geboren. Nach dem Abitur begann sie 1997 mit ihrer Schauspielausbildung, als sie eine Rolle in Jean-Charles Taccellas Spielfilm Les Gens Qui S'Aiment (1998) angeboten bekam. 1996 trat sie ins Konservatorium für Drama (CNSAD) in Paris ein, wo sie eine Schauspielausbildung erhielt. Nebenbei hatte sie Gastrollen in französischen Fernsehserien.

Im Jahr 2002 wurde sie erstmals einem größeren Publikum bekannt mit einer tragenden Nebenrolle in Pierre Jolivets Film Le Frère Du Guerrier an der Seite von Guillaume Canet. International bekannt wurde sie vor allem als Michèle Charpin-Vasseur in Claude Chabrols Die Blume des Bösen.
