Room 2012

Room 2012 ist eine vierköpfige deutsche Band. Sie wurde Ende 2007 im Rahmen der sechsten Staffel der Castingshow Popstars, die zwischen Juni und Dezember 2007 im Abendprogramm des deutschen Fernsehsenders ProSieben ausgestrahlt wurde, zusammengestellt.

Für den 14. Dezember 2007 wurden mit Haunted und Elevator die erste Single und das erste Album der Band angekündigt.

Mitglieder

Cristobal Galvez Moreno (* 19. Mai 1987) kommt aus Obertshausen. Vor Room 2012 sammelte er bereits neun Jahre lang Erfahrung in einem Männerchor und zwei Jahre in einer Liveband. Cristobal spielt Gitarre und Klavier, und er schrieb Teile des Textes des Songs Never Give Up für das „Popstars Allstars“-Album[1].

Julian Kasprzik (* 12. Oktober 1987) kommt aus Siegen. 2005 nahm er an der dritten Staffel von Deutschland sucht den Superstar teil und schied in der Runde der „Top 20“ aus. Außerdem ist er zweimaliger Sieger der Karaoke-Show shibuya des Senders VIVA.

Sascha Schmitz (* 17. Juli 1984) kommt aus Dortmund. Vor Room 2012 arbeitete er dort als Fitnesstrainer. 2003 nahm er an der zweiten Staffel von Deutschland sucht den Superstar teil und schied in der „Top-50“-Show aus.

Tialda van Slogteren (* 22. Mai 1985) kommt aus Haarlem. Bevor sie bei Popstars teilnahm, arbeitete sie als Model.

Sonstiges

Das Logo von Room 2012 soll einen Schlüssel darstellen.

Neben den vier Sängern gibt es noch die Tänzer Vika, Aziz, Darren, Raik und Shorty, die die Band auf ihren Auftritten mit Tänzen und Perfomances unterstützen. Das Finale der Tänzer war einige Wochen vor dem der Sänger.

Habe stundenlang recherchiert, und dabei auch etwas fündig geworden. Sind leider die meisten MQ. Vielleicht gibts ja bald HQs.Denke aber, dass es die Band nicht lange geben wird. Doch das wäre sehr schade, denn Tialda sieht verdammt gut aus, wie ich finde... Reignman
