Hannah Spearritt

Hannah Louise Spearritt (* 1. April 1981 in Gorleston, Norfolk) ist eine englische Schauspielerin und Sängerin. Sie war Mitglied der erfolgreichen Pop-Gruppe S Club 7.

Leben

Hannah Spearritt wurde 1981 in Gorleston, Norfolk geboren und ist das jüngste von drei Kindern. Sie begann bereits mit drei Jahren zu modeln und wurde als Jugendliche am National Youth Music Theatre angenommen. An der Schule lernte sie auch ihren späteren Freund und Bandkollegen Paul Cattermole kennen. Nach ihrem Schulabschluss begann sie in Great Yarmouth Mathematik, Medien und darstellende Künste zu studieren. Spearritt brach das Studium jedoch ab, nachdem sie durch ein Casting in die Band S Club 7 aufgenommen wurde.

Spearritt war von 1998 bis 2003 Mitglied von S Club 7. Die Band wurde in Europa und den USA sowohl über ihre Musik als auch mittels einer gleichnamigen Fernsehserie im Seifenoper-Format vermarktet und hatte großen kommerziellen Erfolg. Die Serie lief in Deutschland auf dem TV-Sender VIVA. Nachdem sich die Band 2003 auflöste, widmete sie sich nur noch der Schauspielerei.

2007 hatte sie in der ITV1-Fernsehserie Primeval - Rückkehr der Urzeitmonster ihren bislang größten Erfolg als Schauspielerin. Sie spielt in dieser Serie eine Zoologin. Die erste Folge dieser Science-Fiction-Serie über längst ausgestorbene Urzeitmonster, die durch Zeitanomalien ins England des 21. Jahrhunderts versetzt werden, sahen sechs Millionen Zuschauer in Großbritannien.

Sie ist mit Andrew-Lee Potts zusammen und bekommt bald ein Baby von ihm.
