Marie Zielcke

Marie Zielcke (* 3. Februar 1979 in Köln) ist eine deutsche Schauspielerin.

Leben
Aufgewachsen in einer Theaterfamilie, gibt Marie Zielcke ihr Debüt am Schultheater, gleichsam eine Art Berufung, die sie mit 17 Jahren zum Schulabgang bewegt. Im selben Jahr begegnet ihr Rolf Peter Kahl, der sie zusammen mit Oskar Roehler in Silvester Countdown für den Film entdeckt. Ohne Abitur und Schauspielausbildung avanciert Marie Zielcke zu den jungen Hoffnungsträgern der deutschen Filmszene.

Marie Zielcke erhält 1998 den Max-Ophüls-Preis als beste Nachwuchs-Darstellerin für ihre Rolle der emotionalen Julia im Film Silvester Countdown, die sich ständig mit ihrem Partner streitet und alsbald wieder versöhnt. Bei ihrer Rollenauswahl zeigte sie bisher Mut zu unkonventionellen Film- bzw. Videoproduktionen (Planet Alex).

Zielcke ist mit dem amerikanischen Schauspieler Henry Thomas verheiratet und hat eine Tochter. Das Paar lebt allerdings getrennt.

Zurzeit ist sie mit dem Schauspieler und Comedian Christoph Maria Herbst liiert.
