Franziska Schenk

[Kuno Parschunke]

Franziska Michaela Schenk (* 13. März 1974 in Erfurt-Hohenwinden) ist eine deutsche Fernsehmoderatorin und ehemalige deutsche Eisschnellläuferin.
Franziska Schenk legte 1993 in Erfurt ihr Abitur ab und begann im Oktober 1994 an der Johannes-Gutenberg-Universität in Mainz ein Magisterstudium mit den Fachrichtungen Germanistik, Film- und Medienwissenschaften und Publizistik, welches sie 2003 abschloss. Seit 1998 arbeitet sie als Moderatorin und Reporterin für die ARD.
Ende 2004 wurde Franziska Schenk Mutter einer Tochter Maren.
Sportliche Erfolge [Bearbeiten]
Als Eisschnellläuferin wurde sie mehrmals Deutsche Meisterin sowie 1997 Weltmeisterin im Sprintvierkampf. Bei den Olympischen Winterspielen 1994 gewann sie die Bronzemedaille über 500 m. Ihr gelangen insgesamt 11 Weltcupsiege.
