Emma Caulfield

Emma Caulfield (* 8. April 1973 in San Diego als Emma Chukker) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin.

Leben und Leistungen

Caulfield wuchs in San Diego auf. Sie studierte Schauspiel im La Jolla Playhouse und im Old Globe Theatre, wo sie die Auszeichnung Excellence in Theatre Arts erhielt. Anschließend studierte sie Psychologie an der San Francisco State University und an der University of California, Los Angeles. Danach studierte sie erneut Schauspiel an der Londoner American School.

Caulfield spielte in den Jahren 1995 bis 1996 in der Fernsehserie Beverly Hills, 90210. In den Jahren 1996 bis 1997 spielte sie Lorraine Miller in der Serie General Hospital. Besonders bekannt machte sie die Rolle der Anya Christina Emmanuella Jenkins in der Serie Buffy – Im Bann der Dämonen, die sie in den Jahren 1998 bis 2003 spielte. Für diese Rolle wurde sie im Jahr 2003 für den Golden Satellite Award nominiert. Für ihre Rolle im Horrorfilm Der Fluch von Darkness Falls (2003) gewann sie im Jahr 2003 den Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films Award. In der Fernsehkomödie I Want to Marry Ryan Banks (2004) trat sie neben Jason Priestley auf.
