Sabine Sauer

Sabine Sauer (* 22. Februar 1955 in Freiburg im Breisgau) ist eine deutsche Fernsehmoderatorin, Radiomoderatorin und Journalistin.

Berufliche Laufbahn

Seit 1977 ist sie beim Bayerischen Rundfunk tätig und moderiert dort zur Zeit die tägliche Sendung „Wir in Bayern“, die freitägliche Talkshow „Unter vier Augen“ und jährlich die Benefiz-Gala zu den „Sternstunden“ in der Adventszeit. Im Hörfunk moderiert sie sonntags die „Wunsch-Musik“ auf Bayern 4 Klassik.

Außerdem präsentierte sie 2006 und 2007 das Open-Air-Konzert Klassik am Odeonsplatz und moderierte Preisverleihungen wie den Bayerischen Filmpreis, den Bayerischen Theaterpreis und den Bayern-Online-Preis. Des Weiteren eröffnete sie 2007 die Richard Strauss-Festspiele in Garmisch-Partenkirchen und präsentiert die Konzertreihe „Klassik um 11“ der Nürnberger Symphoniker.

Bundesweit bekannt wurde sie 1984 mit der Moderation des nationalen Eurovisionsvorentscheids (ESC) „Ein Lied für Luxemburg“. Im selben Jahr startete im ZDF auch ihre erste eigene Sendung „Kino-Hitparade“. 1986 übernahm sie im ZDF zusätzlich die Sendung „Showfenster“, die Nachfolgesendung der V.I.P.-Schaukel.
