Meret Becker

Meret Becker (* 15. Januar 1969 in Bremen) ist eine deutsche Schauspielerin und Sängerin. Sie ist die Tochter von Monika Hansen und Rolf Becker, die Stieftochter von Otto Sander und die Schwester von Ben Becker.
Dem breiten deutschsprachigen Publikum fiel sie zunächst in Kleine Haie auf, aber wie auch im folgenden Rossini – oder die mörderische Frage, wer mit wem schlief ist sie mehr auf die „Aschenputtel“-Rollen festgelegt, was sie selbst jedoch nicht als Manko empfindet. In einem Interview darauf angesprochen, antwortete sie, dass sie zwar schon reiche, verzogene Mädchen gespielt habe, „aber nach reichem Elternhaus sehe ich irgendwie nicht aus. Das liegt an den Zähnen, glaube ich. Die haben etwas Rattiges.“ (Westdeutsche Zeitung, 15. September 2004)
Meret Beckers Großmutter war die Komikerin Claire Schlichting. Becker war von 1996 bis 2002 mit Alexander Hacke verheiratet; die beiden trennten sich 2000, als sie eine viel publizierte Beziehung mit Danny Bruder von „Das Department“ einging. Sie hat eine Tochter.
