Beverly D’Angelo

Beverly D’Angelo (* 15. November 1951 in Columbus, Ohio) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin und Sängerin.

D’Angelo entstammt einer Managerfamilie; ihr Vater leitete den Fernsehsender WBNS-TV in Columbus. Sie studierte Kunst in Italien und arbeitete für Hanna-Barbera als Zeichnerin. Sie war ebenfalls Mitglied der Musikgruppe Elephant und trat u.a. in Kanada auf. Besonders bekannt ist sie aus dem Film Hair und aus den National Lampoon's - Filmen, in den sie neben Chevy Chase Ellen Griswold spielte.

Für ihre Rolle im Musikfilm Nashville Lady (1980), in dem sie zahlreiche Songs sang, wurde D’Angelo für den Filmpreis Golden Globe in der Kategorie Beste Nebendarstellerin nominiert.

1992 machte sie einen Gastauftritt in der Zeichentrickserie Die Simpsons während der dritten Staffel. 16 Jahre später, während der 19. Staffel, machte sie nochmal einen Auftritt

D’Angelo war in den Jahren 1981 bis 1995 mit Lorenzo Salviati verheiratet. Sie hat zwei Kinder (Zwillinge, * 2001) mit Al Pacino, mit dem sie sich seit Jahren um das Sorgerecht über die Kinder streitet.
