Elizabeth Chase "Lizzie" Olsen (born February 16, 1989) is an American actress and is the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. She did theater as a child and has appeared in many of her sisters' productions. She is a graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and the Atlantic Theater Company. Olsen graduated from Campbell Hall School in 2007.

Career
Lizzie Olsen's career began at the age of four when she acted in her sisters' first movie, Our First Video. She guest starred in Mary-Kate and Ashley's direct-to-video series titled The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley. She cameoed in How the West Was Fun, another of her sisters' productions.

Following in the footsteps of Mary-Kate and Ashley, Olsen starred in three movies, to be released in 2011 and 2012. She first acted in a movie titled Peace, Love, and Misunderstanding, in which she played the role of Zoe. She played the leading role in Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011) as a woman who comes out of a cult and tries to live a normal life with her sister and brother-in-law. The movie is labeled as an "indie" drama. She has also acted in The Silent House, in which she played the role of Sarah. This film is in post-production. Olsen also appeared in the music video "The Queen" by Carlotta. She is now in the middle of filming the movie Red Lights which is due to be released in 2012. She is also going to be starring in Liberal Arts which is also going to be released in 2012. She is set to star in "Very Good Girls" alongside Dakota Fanning which will be released in 2013.
