Michelle Keegan (b.June 1987) is a British actress best known for her role as Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street. Before winning her role as Tina she auditioned for a part in Hollyoaks and dated Hollyoaks actor Anthony Quinlan whom she met in Selfridges [1]. Before her acting career she was working at Manchester Airport where she first met Jack P. Shepherd, who plays her on-screen boyfriend David Platt.

Anthony Quinlan reportedly ended their relationship due to her chemistry with Jack P. Shepherd, who plays David Platt.[2] In an interview, Keegan denied dating Shepherd, stating that they are just "really good mates".[3]
